Girls sport continues to flourish Girls sport continues to flourish and excel at Hereford Cathedral School - Eleanor Viner has been selected for the England Netball talent camp at U17 despite only being U15 this is a huge achievement and she is the only girl to have been selected from Herefordshire for a number of years. Also congratulations are due to Rosie Hanks, Louisa Smith, Abigail Whiteman and Tessa Langford who have all been selected for England for rounders. So far this Autumn Term HCS has won all of the county hockey tournaments. The 1st XI hockey team won the U18 county tournament comfortably beating John Masefield 7-0 and Sixth Form College 4-0.
Hereford Cathedral School have featured in all of the county netball tournaments: - they were runners up in the U18 and U16 and winners of the U14. The U14s won the county netball tournament with victories over Minster 11-2 and Whitecross 13-0 in the group stages and then played Queen Elizabeth in the quarter finals beating them 10-3 and playing Bishops in the semi finals winning 4-2 and finally had a comfortable victory over Tenbury in the final beating them 12-1. Congratulations to all of the students and it is hoped they can produce the double winning the county hockey tournament . U14 Squad
